2008 - 2009 – Councillor of the Municipal Council of Chişinău, Chairman of the Liberal Fraction within the Municipal Council of Chişinău, Chairman of the Board of Administration of SA “Edilitate”.
2007-2008 – Lawyer for ÎM “Autosalubritate”.
Marital status: Single.
By Presidential Decree No. 4-V of 25 September 2009, Ion Cebanu is appointed Minister of Youth and Sport.
