Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova | Born on 6 May 1969 in the village of Lăpuşna, raion Hînceşti.
Education:
1990-1994 – University of Alexandru Ioan Cuza in Iaşi – Law Department, University Diploma in Law.
1989-1990 – Cooperative College of the Republic of Moldova.
1986 – graduated from the Secondary School of the village of Lăpuşna, raion Hînceşti.
Career:
2005-2009 – Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova.
2000-2005 – Entrepreneur.
1999 – Minister of State of the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
1998-1999 – Director of Department of Privatization and Administration of the State Property of the Republic of Moldova.
1994- 1998 – Entrepreneur.
Family status: Married, father of 2 children.
By Presidential Decree No. 4-V of 25 September 2009, Vladimir Filat is appointed Prime Minister.
